Sudaba began working in the L’Abbé Lab during her final year of undergraduate studies at the University of Toronto, working on a fourth- year research project where she analyzed Food Marketing Techniques and Nutritional Content of Supermarket Foods Targeted at Children.

Sudaba is currently working as a Research Assistant under the supervision of Dr. Anthony Hanley since attaining her master’s degree in 2014. During her masters studies, Sudaba successfully participated in the Collaborative Program in Aboriginal Health (CPAH) at the School of Graduate Studies from 2012-2014. Her area of research includes diabetes epidemiology, Indigenous health and nutrition, nutritional epidemiology, and child/youth onset type 2 diabetes.
