Salma completed her MSc degree in the L’Abbe Lab. She investigated the effects of diet quality on the prevalence of chronic disease using the Canadian nationally representative survey. Her goal was to provide a broad picture of past and current eating patterns of Canadians and their associations with obesity and other chronic diseases; an essential element for informing the future Canadian dietary guidelines and nutrition policies.
