Emily is a PhD student in the L’Abbé lab. Her thesis research focuses on analyzing the relationship between food policies that aim to improve the diets of Canadians and food prices. Emily is also the receipt of a Feeding Kids Nourishing Minds School-based nutrition graduate award in which she is assessing nutrient intakes of Canadian children at school and applying provincial school food and beverage policies. Other research interests include examining the response of the food industry to food policies and reformulation. Prior to joining the L’Abbé Lab, Emily completed her BSc and the Master of Management of Innovation program at UofT.
