Elenee is a MSc candidate in the L’Abbé lab. Her thesis project involves collecting and analyzing updated national-level dietary intake data to assess dietary intakes, nutrient adequacy, and diet quality among Canadian adults prior to the implementation of Canada’s new front-of-package labelling regulations. These baseline assessments can support future evaluations of the regulations. Her other research interests include population-level nutrition surveillance, food environment policy, and nutrient profiling. Prior to joining the L’Abbé lab, Elenee completed her BScH in Life Sciences at Queen’s University.
