Caroline is a MSc Candidate in the L’Abbe Lab. Her thesis research focuses on evaluating and improving the nutritional and meal quality of Canadian long-term care homes. Her other research interests include assessing the food supply using various nutrient profiling models, tracking sodium levels in prepackaged foods over time relative to established targets, and analyzing food labelling in the Canadian e-grocery environment. Her research is supported by the Canadian Institutes of Health Research Canada Graduate Scholarship, the Ontario Graduate Scholarship, and the U of T Banting and Best Diabetes Centre Novo Nordisk Studentship. She has also completed a Collaborative Specialization in Public Health Policy at the Dalla Lana School of Public Health. Caroline completed her HBSc at the U of T with a double major in Nutritional Sciences and Health and Diseases, along with a minor in Physiology.
