Allison was part of the L’Abbe lab in her fourth year of undergraduate studies, and conducted research related to assessing the accuracy of sodium values in the Canadian Nutrient File. She recently graduated from the University of Toronto earning a double major in Nutritional Sciences and Economics. Currently, Allison studies at the University of Guelph, pursuing a Master’s of Science in Food Safety and Quality Assurance. Her Master’s research project involves exploring food allergy knowledge and attitudes of restaurant employees in Canada, and is being supervised by faculty within the School of Hospitality, Food, and Tourism Management.
