Jessica first joined the L’Abbe lab in 2011 as a volunteer doing data entry for FLIP 2013 in her third year of undergraduate studies. In her fourth year, Jessica continued with the L’Abbe Lab and completed NFS494Y, where she analyzed the serving size, calorie content and caloric density of packaged foods from Canadian grocery stores. She received the Dr. Lorus J Milne and Dr. Margery J Milne Award in 2012, which allowed Jessica to continue her research and broaden her analyses. Jessica is now finalizing her manuscript to be submitted for publication.
